1. A football match is very thrilling , it attracts hundreds of people. It is full of excitement .It presents an amusing scene. It is pleasant to witness a football match. Recently I saw an interesting football match. It was played between our school team and the Patna Sporting Club.

2.The play was to start at 4.30 p.m. but people began to gather before the time. They were anxious to see the match. All the players turned up at 4-15. Exactly at 4:30 the referee blew his whistle and the play started. For some time there was a lull in the play. After about ten minutes this came became exciting .Our school team began to make attacks. Our forwards showed great skill. The goalkeeper of the other side had a hard time. When the ball came towards the goal posts, the spectators clapped loudly. The ball swung from one player to another. The players were excited . They tried to defeat their opponents .The spectators cheered the players at every fine kick. The long cheering filled the players with excitement. Though the game was full of heat and excitement. neither side could score a goal till half-time.

After the recess the play started with great excitement. The players of both sides tried to score goals. Our forwards played with great tact and energy. As soon as the ball was in their grip they kicked it towards the goal posts of the other side. Whenever a player dribbled the ball towards the goal posts of the opposite side, he was cheered loudly. After some time one of our forwards kicked the ball hard. The goalkeeper of the other side missed the ball and it passed through the goal posts. There were loud cheers and shouts. The players of our team were mad with joy. Their opponents did not lose heart. They began to play with great skill. Just a few minutes before the end of the game our team scored another goal. The players of the other side lost hope. They merely carried on. When the play was over, the players of our team. were congratulated on their victory .

3. The football match gave the spectators great joy. It diverted them from the dull monotony of everyday life for about an hour.

1. फुटबॉल मैच बहुत रोमांचकारी होता है। यह सैकड़ों लोगों को आकर्षित करता है। यह उत्तेजनापूर्ण होता है। यह एक मनोरंजक दृश्य उपस्थित करता है। फुटबॉल मैच देखना आनंददायक होता है। हाल में मैंने एक मनोरंजक फुटबॉल मैच देखा। यह हमारे विद्यालय की टीम और पटना स्पोर्टिंग क्लब के बीच खेला गया।

2. खेल साढ़े चार को अपराह्न में प्रारंभ होनेवाला था, लेकिन लोग समय में बहुत पहले ही एकत्र होने लगे। ये मैच देखने को उत्सुक थे। सवा चार बजे सभी खिलाड़ी आ गए। ठीक साढ़े चार बजे निर्णायक ने सीटी बजाई और खेल शुरू हो गया। कुछ समय तक खेल में घीमापन था। करीब दस मिनटों के बाद खेल उत्तेजनापूर्ण हो गया। हमारे स्कूल की टीम आक्रमण करने लगी। हमारे अगले खिलाड़ियों ने बहुत कुशलता दिखलाई। दूसरे दल के गोलकीपर को अत्यंत कठिनाई का सामना करना पड़ा। जब गेंद गोल-पोस्ट की ओर जाता था तब दर्शक जोर से ताली बजाते थे। गेंद एक खिलाड़ी से दूसरे खिलड़ी तक जाता था। खिलाड़ी उत्तेजित थे। वे अपने विरोधी दल को हराने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। जब खिलाड़ी गेंद को अच्छी तरह उछालते मे तब दर्शक उनको शाबाशी देते थे। जोरदार शाबाशी से खिलाड़ी उत्तेजित हो जाते थे। यद्यपि खेल में सरगर्मी और उत्तेजना थी, फिर भी आधे समय तक कोई दल गोल नहीं कर सका।

मध्यांतर के बाद खेल अधिक उत्तेजना के साथ शुरू हुआ। दोनों दलों के खिलाड़ी गोल करने की केशिश करने लगे। हमारे अगले खिलाड़ी अत्यंत कुशलता और शक्ति के साथ खेलने लगे। ज्योंही गेंद उनके पास आता था त्योंही वे उसे दूसरे दल के गोल पोस्ट की ओर उछाल देते थे। जब कोई खिलाड़ी गेंद दूसरे दल के गोल पोस्ट की ओर उछालता था तब लोग जोर से शाबाशी देते थे। कुछ समय के बाद हमारे एक अगले खिलाड़ी ने गेंद को जोर से उछाला। दूसरे दल का गोलकीपर गेंद को नहीं पकड़ सका और वह गोल पोस्ट के बीच से निकल गया। जोर से शाबाशी दी गई और कोलाहल हुआ। हमारे दल के खिलाड़ी खुशी से पागल हो रहे थे। उनके विरोधियों ने साहस नहीं खोया। वे अधिक कुशलता से खेलने लगे। खेल ख़तम होने के कुछ मिनट पहले हमारी टीम ने दूसरा गोल किया। दूसरे दल के खिलाड़ी निराश हो गए। उन्होंने खेल को केवल जारी रखा। जब खेल समाप्त हुआ तब हमारी टीम के खिलाड़ियों को उनकी विजय पर बधाई दी गई।

3. फुटबॉल मैच से दर्शकों को बहुत आनंद मिला। वे करीब एक घंटे तक अपने दैनिक जीवन की नीरसता को भूल गए।
